ROCK LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION

Board Meeting Minutes, Dec. 19, 2007     W8170 Elm Point Road, 6 p.m.


Present:  Milt Strauss, Johanna Chworowsky, Larry Clark, Jim Colegrove, Scott Johnson, Margaret Krueger, Ron Niedfeldt, Stan Smoniewski and Tom Pezzi, and also Patricia Cicero.
Treasurer’s Report:  Report from Dec. 18, 2007 was read by Jim and accepted, with $164.40 in Lake Management account, $6,310.62 in RLIA Checking Account, and $4,168.07 in RLIA Savings account, for a total of $10,643.09. A check for $86.25 from Lake Management account grant money will be sent to the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene to pay for water sample analysis. A motion was passed to close out the Lake Management account and pay future lake management bills through the RLIA checking account. Jim will keep track of the lake management bills which will be reimbursed by the Department of Natural Resources.
Other bills authorized to be paid included Wisconsin Association of Lakes annual membership dues, $370; Rock River Coalition corporate membership, $75; and G-Flow Analysis, $500.
An internal audit of RLIA bookkeeping will be done in 2008.
Patricia said two properties have changed hands, and the new owners will be given new home owner packets from the Jefferson County Land and Water Conservation Department. The properties are Donald Schuenke, W8148 Elm Point Road, to Linda Becker and Allison Schuenke of North Prairie; and Grant Stousland, W8094 County Trunk B, to Larry and Cynthia Fahney of Jefferson.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m., after a motion was made by Johanna.
